It is located above the small town of Azrou at an altitude of 5000 feet. The Monastery was a place for inter-cultural and inter-faith dialogue. Guests from different parts of the world used to meet there to discuss religion and other world issues. The history of Toumliline Monastery is a sign of coexistence and dialogue that has long existed between Christianity and Islam in Morocco.
