Discover Zagora area and Erg Chegaga Desert
When tourists come to Morocco with a plan to spend a night or two under the stars in the Sahara Desert, they would typically choose to visit Merzouga as it is the famous one. However, Zagora in the Draa Valley in southeast Morocco has a lot more to offer and is the door to the Sahara Desert or the last small town before you reach the amazing Erg Chegaga Dunes. This vast stunning area is home to Berber (Amazigh) and Arab Tribes and is famous for its Kasbahs (Castles), historical monuments, green pottery and varieties of dates. This amazing Oasis is definitely worth discovering.
